Facilities Management Overview
MWA’s principal aim is to provide its Clients with a more reliable and cost effective Facilities Management service.
MWA act as Facilities Management Consultants for both commercial occupiers and Managing Agents for Residential Estates.
MWA will manage existing contracts and tender and implement new contracts where necessary to suit the best interests of its Client.
MWA can also implement the following:-
- Helpdesk
- Key Holding Service
- Insurance Inspections

- Service Charge Collection
- Emergency contact detail

MWA’s in house team also carry out the following surveys / audits:
- M&E audits to monitor contractors actual performance (installing a penalty system where specifically agreed for non performance) and statutory compliance
- Health and Safety Assessments including fire risk assessments and training (see Health and Safety section)
- DDA audits
- Energy Performance Certificates (EPC's)
- Act as retained advisers
MWA are the sole retained Facilities Managers for the Executive Offices Group (the parent company of which is Morgan Stanley Real Estate), and their serviced office groups of Argyll, Palladia, Corpnex and Workspace Solutions Business Centres. Executive Offices have 37 commercial offices in England and France covering over 800,000 square feet of office space. MWA’s responsibilities to them include:
- Facilities Management retained advice
- Management of hard Facilities Management services including the carrying out of mechanical and electrical audits and setting up and re-tendering of service contracts.
- Retained Health and Safety advice including carrying out fire risk assessments, DSA assessments, CDM, fire evacuation proceedures, bomb evacuation plans, pregnant women risk assessments and work place risk assessments.
- All space planning and design requirements including AutoCAD space planning, listed consent and building regulation applications and approvals
